How Many Tiles Will I Need?
Ceramic tile is sold by the square foot. Measure the area you wish to tile by multiplying the width x the depth. For example, if you tile a foyer that is 6' wide by 8' long, your square foot measurement is 48 square feet (6'x8'=48 sq. ft.) Whether the tile you've chosen is 4 1/4",6",8",10",12",13",18" or any other size, we'll tell you how many tiles you will need. 
 
How Do I Estimate the Cost?
If you tile 48 square feet and the cost is $1.29 a square foot, the tile cost will be $61.92 (48x1.29=61.92). If your tile choice costs $2.50 sq. ft., your tile cost will be $120 (48x2.50=120). Factor in the cost of adhesives, grout and optional items (trims, decors, accessories, etc) and you will be pleasantly surprised at the low cost, especially since tile will never need waxing, sealing, upkeep or replacing.
